Wenny, Miranda and I arrived at La Calera on the 15th. Berg was already here having taken study leave to brush up on his A levels (?). In my absence of two weeks, Sima had made great progress on building the worksurface walls and shelves and Berg had learnt how to brick lay. It is now the 18th and we have almost finished the kitchen building, so should be able to start on the tiling and painting next week. We had some young builders round yesterday to givie us an estimate on the pool - so that should be interesting when it comes in.
