Spring in Spain
May in Spain
I arrived by myself with 11 books to read and then spent the first week reading them and doing little work. In the second week, I finally got under way with the help of Simon from Tapia who took charge of any brick work that needed doing whilst I got on with the plumbing.
By the time I came to leave on the 1st of June, I had hot and cold water, properly filtered, in the kitchen and scullery and the pipe work laid for the upstairs basins and for the new (luxury?) bathroom. Simon had almost finished the worksurfaces in the kitchen and had put up the dividing wall between the scullery and kitchen.
So now it's two weeks in the UK sorting out as much as possible before returning to carry on around the middle of the month.
Myself, Berg, Miranda and Weny arrived in Spain around the 7th April where we were later joined by Lil and Dills and then Sas and Char. Jus and Raj+ Sprog appeared later in time to celebrate Sas' (16th) and Lils (19th ) birthday. It was great to see the place finally starting to function as we hoped it would. It accommodated lots of people with little trouble, so by the time its finished it should be great.
Everybody seemed to have a good time and I was thrilled to see it come alive.
